How to Perform Candle Magic
Step 1: Choose Your Candle
Select a candle colour that matches your intention.
Step 2: Cleanse Your Candle
Pass it through sage or incense smoke, or visualise white light clearing the candle.
Step 3: Dress Your Candle (Optional)
Anoint with a corresponding oil and roll in herbs. Rub from the centre outward to attract, or inward to banish. Carve symbols or sigils into the wax.
Step 4: Set Your Intention
Hold the candle and clearly state your intention. Be specific about what you want to manifest.
Step 5: Light Your Candle
As you light the candle, visualise your intention manifesting. Say: "As this candle burns, so does my intention manifest. For the highest good of all. So mote it be."
Step 6: Let It Burn
Ideally let the candle burn completely. If not possible, snuff it out (never blow – this disperses the energy) and relight later, reaffirming your intention each time.
Candle Magic Safety
Always practise fire safety: never leave burning candles unattended, place on heat-resistant surfaces, keep away from flammable materials, trim wicks to 1/4 inch, and keep out of reach of children and pets.
