This is a time of balance, renewal, fertility, and fresh beginnings. The Spring Equinox invites us to plant seeds – both literal and metaphorical – and embrace the growing light as nature bursts into bloom.

The Meaning of the Spring Equinox

At the equinox, light and dark are in perfect balance — an ideal time to seek equilibrium in your own life. Spring is nature's season of rebirth: seeds sprout, flowers bloom, and animals emerge from hibernation. The Spring Equinox encourages us to shed what no longer serves us and embrace new growth, creativity, hope, and optimism.

Ostara: The Pagan Spring Festival

Ostara is one of the eight sabbats on the Wheel of the Year, named after the Germanic goddess Eostre. Traditional symbols include eggs (fertility and new life), rabbits (abundance), spring flowers, seeds, butterflies (transformation), and the colours green and yellow.
